This necklace makes quite a statement. I used a beading needle to create this 22 inch chain by alternating 6mm rosebud silver wash beads and Czech glass seed beads in crystal brown. The pendant at the necklace's center is Blackstone glass and teardrop shaped. I began by double threading 50 inches of stringing thread, tightly knotting one end three times. I then threaded an end cap with loop to the knotted end. By repeating the sequence ~seed bead, seed bead, rosebud bead~ 33 times I created a 100 bead strand. I finished this strand with ~seed bead, seed bead, end cap~ and double knotted the strand. To strand the drop pendant without stringing it, I used a two inch peace of wire; thread the wire through the predrilled holes in the pendant, used needle nose and long nose pliers to curve each end of the wire into a noose, safely securing the pendant.

After duplicating my original strand, I built the necklace by closing all 4 end caps with long nose pliers and connected one end of each strand to the drop pendant. A drop of jewelry glue secures all four strand-ends to prevent slippage. I attached the spring and loop clasp using the same method as connecting the strands to the pendant.
